December 19th was an incredible day of Celebration for hundreds of students at TCU, my Fiance being one of them. All of those years of hard work had finally paid off and that day they crossed the stage and finally receive their diploma! For some people, college is not easy….especially having to go to work, school AND finding time to study….(just ask Taylor…LOL).
Needless to say, I am SO INCREDIBLY PROUD of my man for not giving up and staying strong (especially through those last couple of months). WAY TO GO TAYLOR!!! 😀
His family and I all rode to TCU together and enjoyed some refreshments before the ceremony started. There were lots of photo-ops around campus for the graduates, however we decided to take the majority of them post ceremony. Here are some pictures of the Graduation Ceremony!! 🙂
We met up with my family and then walked in the new Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena where the Graduation Ceremony was taking place…what an absolute GORGEOUS BUILDING!!
In the very front of the arena, it has all of the school’s sports teams uniforms on mahicans and TV’s! Not to mention they have HUGE pictures all around the arena with TCU fans, sports teams, and more!…
One of the new things featured in the building was the TCU Letterman’s Wall where Taylor’s Fathers’s name was displayed. He played College Football for TCU in the 1970’s. It was so awesome to see his name up there the same day his youngest child graduated from TCU!
Family Picture time!!….(It was so WINDY!!!)
Just being goofy…
I am so proud of my man!! 🙂
Also do you see anything in the picture below?…maybe a Hallmark Actress in red? 😉 LOL
After the Graduation Ceremony we all headed over to Mira Vista Country Club where his parents put on an after celebration with friends and family. There were cookies from J. Rae’s and a delicious Cake from Creme dela Creme. They were so YUMMY!!
Taylor was so appreciative for all of the Friends & Family who came to support him.
WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU TAYLOR!!! 😀
CONGRATULATIONS!!! YOU DID IT!!!
